Thank You - Thank You!

Where oh where to start our Thank Yous!

First of all to Make a Wish - you did grant us a wish come true. Including a Limo ride, that will most likely be our only one - what a blessing.

To Give Kids the World Village - we want to come and live there. Because of you and all you did for us - we had the best experience possible. I wish there were more so everyone can enjoy.

Disney and Sea World - thank you for the donations. I must say that Disney World went over the top to make our Wish come true. The employees are amazing and so kind. Thank you for taking care of this family.

Alaska Airlines - this is a picture of our flight attendants on the way home - you have blessed our socks off. You guys made a long flight home great. To the Airlines - you are the best - there were no problems, everyone was so helpful and caring and wanting our wish to be the best.

We all awoke this morning wanting to be back in Florida - but bringing Captain with us.

To anyone that reads this - please support these great places. I know that Make a Wish and Give the Kids the World are non profit and every little bit helps them - and in essence blessing us.

To God above - wowow - you saved our son, and then all these blessings, okay I am crying again, time to get off.

God Bless You All!

Home Again Home Again

Just had to go out with a bang - this is the perfect picture - The Magic Kingdom during the spectacular fireworks - they were so awesome and so was our trip.

I am having a hard time believing that we are out of here and the magic is ending. It has been an amazing week, and we are not ready to go. Sarah wants to take all the people home with her.

Another special memory is that Sarah had Ms Merry come and tuck her in last night. It led to a meltdown and tears galore. She really does not want to leave.

Well they are out playing with the boats again - one of their most favorite things to do. We are able to eat lunch here - so that will be lots of fun as we will have ice cream sundaes for dessert. Yummy. They have to go home to my boring cooking - I feel so sorry for them all and what is going to be like.

I will probably write more tomorrow when we are home, and maybe we will be awake - but I think we will have to see - I am still in a dream.

God Bless each of you -

Sea World - Here we come!!!

Can you believe we have to go home tomorrow - I am so not ready. I want to stay here and veg. We have had some busy busy days.

Last night we headed back to the Magic Kingdom and watched the parade and fireworks - finally getting back here about 12:30. Tired puppies. Then we headed to Sea World today - you know we are so spoiled with Disney we did not think it was as good as it could have been. But then we are also exhausted.

God has certainly blessed us, we have been so very happy. We would love to come again, but not under the circumstances we are here now.

Health wise we are doing well - Josh was in a wheel chair last night and all day today. You could tell the poor boy is wiped out big time. I think that jaded our experiences today. The kids and I agree that we are going to save up so that we can go to Sea World in California and Josh can swim with the dolphins at Discovery Cove when he is healthier.

Well Sarah is going to perform in a few minutes - do the splits in a talent show - so I better run over to the theater.

God Bless you all!

Give the Kids the World Village

This is what our day was - we rested a lot - hung out in the sun, swam, played miniature golf, ad mom napped a lot. The Village here is amazing and we could have spent our entire week here and never been bored.

Josh signed his star - there have been over 80,000 kids come through her since it was founded in 1986 - his will be put up on the ceiling and we will take a picture. Just a tidbit of the spoiling.

After a wonderful dinner of fried chicken and all the fixings - we were still hungry so had two pizzas delivered to our room. Are we spoiled??? I don't know if I ever want to go home. I am s spoiled - and that is their main objective here.

We had a fun time visiting with other families yesterday - as they were just coming in. It was great to visit with another family that their son had a brain tumor. We are playing a lot. The kids even got to watch a movie - because there is a huge selection of Disney movies here.

Well off for the night! Tomorrow we are headed to our last day of Animal Kingdom - we wish we had unlimited money to bring everyone gifts - but I am going to get that Mickey Mouse purse - Bruce said it will be my Easter present - it was his plan all along. I know I don't need another purse but a Mickey one. Josh is bummed knowing mom has to shop a little today.

Oh did I tell you what happened at the Village yesterday - Mickey and Minnie came here to visit. Josh was able to get in a fist cuff with Mickey to prove to Mr. K we were here. Then we came out and to our surprise - Goofy, Pluto, and Mary Poppins. Mary Poppins sounded so proper and English - it was great. Goofy and Pluto were adorable too. We were visiting forever with time and just being blessed. Then Sea World came with 2 claw Slough - like only Josh knew what it was called. Josh is so pumped for Sea World!!

Oh my is really day 3!

We really made a day of it - I was too exhausted last night so will fill you in on Day 3 - or Magic Kingdom Day.

We got an earlier start - and were in for a full day. We arrived at parking lot and took a Monorail into the Magic Kingdom.

I think we rode every ride possible, and saw everything. We left the park at 7 - with a very tired Josh.

I had to choose this picture as when I was 5 and went to Disneyland this was my favorite of favorite rides. So my darlings were with Dumbo!!!!

Asking at breakfast this morning what was the favorite ride - we all loved Splash Mountain - but we were totally drenched when we left. Sarah loved seeing the actual castle, a little bummed we did not get to go in - but it was beautiful and she kept her eye on it in the whole park. Josh liked the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - because he did not get wet. Dad - I think he liked it all. Me - I know I did not like Space Mountain - made me sick, and then Mad Hatter Tea Party - ugh. I loved the Buzz Lightyear Ride - woohoo it was great!

Then to top it off - Give the Kids the World - blessed our socks off this Easter. We woke up to plastic eggs scattered all over the grass in our yard. Then a great breakfast. Off to the Magic Kingdom - where I did not think you could ride so many rides. Having the pass was a blessing - rides had long waits, but we went ride to the front. Even rode the Jungle Cruise twice, because Josh did not want it end. Came back to our villa - hot, sunburned, and exhausted, to find Easter Baskets for the kids, candy for us, and Give the Kids the World Candy Land Game. We headed over to a wonderful Pot Roast dinner. Thinking we would head to bed early - it did not happen. We joined in on a life size Candy Land game. It was so much fun, we danced and had a blast. It was after 10 again before bed time. Because of that we are hanging out at Give the Kids the World today and rest and nap. Mom and Dad are wore out. Plus we want to get some swimming in too.

Have a Blessed Day - I will post tonight after we take pictures here.

Day One at Disney World

I could not decide which picture to use - but why not Mickey.

Day one is over - this is amazing. We headed to Epcot for the first day. It was suppose to be an easy day. We were so busy. We met 5 princesses, 10 other characters, and ate in a Norwegian Castle, went Soaring over California, cruised through Mexico, and got rained on.

We had a wonderful time - and God is blessing us. We were at Epcot by 10 and then back to Give the Kids the World at 6 - and we were exhausted - at least Mom was. We had so much fun and have so many pictures- the kids are loving it. But Josh asked for a wheel chair for Sunday. It was a busy busy busy day.

Mom is heading off to bed - I have adjusted we think we have - to the time change. We are not wanting to go home - I think we all agree that Give the Kids the World Village is the best of them all.

God Bless!

Flying Flying Flying

Wowowow - Florida is beautiful. This picture is of Josh and our pilots from Seattle to Orlando. I have so many pictures and we are having great memories.

We barely made it from our connection from Seattle - but what a great uneventful trip. Although we did have to deice in Redmond - not much fun - but we made it great.

The kids were so excited to fly. Even leaving the house at 4:15. Asking the kids what their favorite part was - it changed minute by minute. First it was the limo ride - I liked that too - then the plane ride - especially the long one - where Sarah got to be the flight assistant. We landed in Orlando and after visiting with the pilots we headed it off. Then we were met by an adorable couple from Give the Kids the World - that got us going through baggage and all. Off quickly to the rental cars - woohoo Mom is driving in a fire engine red Pontiac Grand Prix.

We drove through Florida - scary - there are toll roads that totally blew me away, and you have to have the change - which is even harder. Then we made it to Give the World the Kids - and our hugest blessing began. It is a mini theme park in itself, and we are so spoiled. I could go on and on about it all. This mom could cry all day with all the awesome stuff.

Okay off for the day - thanks for your prayers.
